GLBM's Sport of the Year Award
Each year, GLBM awards that club member who logs the most points logged during any given season with an embroidered, full
back, Sport of the Year jacket. Points are gained for every time a member participates in the running or working a tournament
(12 points per tournament/per member), points for every inch of fish an individual catches during a club tournament (1 point
for evert inch of an angler's top 5 fish caught), and 1 point per club member for every ounce of fish they catch during any
open tournament (teams both share points for their top 5 fish weights).
CLUB TOURNAMENT AWARDS
GLBM seasons each of our club tournaments with a $100.00 add on to make the pot more appealing to its club participants. It
only cost $10.00 per member to enter and qualify for the three place payouts for the most inches caught per the top five fish/per
individual. An optional $2.00 is the fee to enter the lunker pool for each club tournament. ONLY CLUB MEMBERS can participate
in these club tournaments, but a member can have a guest (non-member) as a one-time partner in any club tournament. This non-member
can only participate in one club tournament per season.
